Star of the 1937 Donington Grand Prix

In October 1937, the motor racing world in England was stunned by the appearance of the Auto-Union and Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix teams at The Donington Grand Prix. 70 years later, The Vintage Sports-Car Club celebrated this amazing occasion, the W125 that competed in the 1937 Donington Grand Prix by Richard Seaman was demonstrated at VSCC SeeRed 2007 by Tony Dron at our 'Silver Edition' SeeRed event on the 15-16 September 2007.

Alongside this a programme of 15 races for vintage and historic cars provided a wonderful weekend's entertainment.

The VSCC SeeRed festival continues to focus on attracting a fresh audience to it's broad church of activities and to historic motor sport in general. News on the 2008 event will be posted here as soon as the date and theme is confirmed!
